The National Maritime Authority is the Antigua and Barbuda Department of Marine Services and Merchant Shipping (ADOMS) which has its principal office in St.John's. It has a secondary office in Germany which is engaged in maritime issues related to the registration of ships intending to fly the flag of Antigua and Barbuda. The objective of ADOMS is to maintain an international registry and it is the official body that runs the ship and yacht registry for Antigua and Barbuda.
