TRAVEL TIPS

Getting around Antigua is really easy, honestly!  How can you get lost in 108 square miles, right?  In the past few years new signage has gone up around the island enabling intrepid visitors to navigate a little more easily.  To help you get around when in Antigua here are a few travel tips.

AIRPORT TAXIS
United Taxi Assocation operates the taxi rank at the airport. You can book in advance by emailing unitedtaxi_antigua@hotmail.com or calling +1 268 464 5227. When you arrive, cross the road to the taxi rank and present your email booking confirmation.

GETTING AROUND IN ENGLISH AND FALMOUTH HARBOURS
If you are stationed in Nelson's Dockyard or at Falmouth Harbour Marina or Antigua Yacht Club Marina you will be able to walk around the main bars and restaurants in the area and to the other marinas. You can also travel by RIB and moor up at various jetties.

CAR RENTAL
There are a number of excellent car rental companies based in English Harbour and in Jolly Harbour, and many that operate out of the the airport.  Rates vary depending upon the vehicle rented and the length of rental.
