If you’d like to get close to the on the water action during Antigua Sailing Week the Half Moon Bay Spectator Boats are a great option. Leaving from and returning to Falmouth Harbour Marina on Sunday 24th April, 2016 which is English Harbour Rum Race Day 1, you will get to be part of the excitement on the water.
The tour takes you out of the harbour and along the coast line to watch the race starts and once all classes are racing you will witness boats rounding marks, hoisting spinnakers and changing tactics all in an effort to win the races.
Dress code is casual and there will definitely be a snorkel spot before lunch. Snorkelling gear is provided, but don’t forget swimwear, hat, sunglasses and sunscreen as the heat can be fierce and it’s easy to forget that you are tanning even when you are cooling off in the ocean.
Pick up is at 8.30 am and drop off 3.30 pm at Falmouth Harbour Marina, English Harbour. On arriving at the Marina, inform the security guard you are joining the Half Moon Bay Spectator Boats and you will be shown to the dockside to board.
