Sailing Instructions

AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE SAILING INSTRUCTIONS  has been posted the complete text of which is as follows (Click here for pdf):

The Sailing Instructions are hereby amended as follows:

1.         Sailing Instruction 10.2 is deleted and replace with the following:

‘10.2    All other marks of the course will be orange inflatable buoys except that the Shirley South (SS) mark, the Old Road (OR) mark and the Carlisle (Z) mark will be yellow inflatable buoys.  Some marks may display advertising.’

2.         Section 15 – Protests and Requests for Redress is amended by adding the following:

‘15.8    When the Regatta Measurer is satisfied that there is a technical error in a boat’s current rating at any time during the regatta, he shall notify the relevant authorities including the International Jury. If the International Jury is satisfied that the rating is in error, the Regatta Measurer shall make the necessary corrections and the scoring shall be adjusted to the new TCF for all races in the Regatta including those already sailed.’
