Getting around Antigua is really easy, honestly! How can you get lost in 108 square miles? In the past few years new signage has gone up around the island enabling intrepid visitors to navigate a little more easily. To help you get around when in Antigua here are a few travel tips.
United Taxi Association operates the taxi stand at the airport. You can book in advance by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling +1 268 464 5227. But advance bookings are not necessary. When you arrive, just cross the road to the taxi stand and you will always find a taxi ready to take you to your destination.
GETTING AROUND IN ENGLISH AND FALMOUTH HARBOURS
If you are stationed in Nelson’s Dockyard, at Falmouth Harbour Marina or at Antigua Yacht Club Marina you will be able to walk around the main bars and restaurants in the area and to the other marinas. You can also travel by RIB and moor up at various available jetties including at the Catamaran Marina on the north side of Falmouth Harbour.

Pineapple is happy to meet you with a car when you arrive at the airport and you can drop it off there again before you leave. There are a number of other good car rental companies based in English Harbour and around the island and many that operate out of the the airport. Rates vary depending upon the vehicle rented and the length of rental. Advance bookings are recommended, especially during peak times such as Antigua Sailing Week.
